Postboxes for the undead

Hey

Well quickly noting this whilst I have a moment. Most people in my guild already know my fave instance is Stratholme. Either the current one or that of the one in Caverns of Time. I wander it regularly and despite having exhausted the gear and probably screenshots I seem to find something new most times.

This weeks was the revelations that Postmaster Malown might well have moved in AFTER the culling and why? Well I was wandering around and heading to collect a Stratholme Lily. I thought I would visit Fras Siabi's shop, his little robot is quite helpful but suddenly I realised, there is no post box!

Well how then did they get the post in there from before? I suspect a conspiracy, Malown engineered them to look like that, tempting foolish adventurers hoping for vintage items from Stratholme to sell but were in fact killed by his undead mob.

Or maybe, just maybe Blizzard had overlooked putting them in but either way I noticed and I had to share it.

Cheers!

Death Knights cannot fish

Well mine certainly can't.

Reading up on the lore it says that if they are not inflicting pain they end up in pain? Since fishing is not likely to inflict any great pain I mean.. half of the fish I get are already sickly... there's no point is there?

Which brings me on to the Frost Spec, what a forgiving spec! I redesigned him out of his unholy build because to be frank I never used it. (You don't have to be Frank, you can stay as you are...) and thought the icy chill of the grave would make more sense to follow him around. He doesn't care for ghouls and naming one means he'd have to pretend to give a crap.

Tryztan is my death knight, an ex-pirate that is Malliuss' brother, Malliuss as the guild master takes all dk's he just won't accept the worgen kind. (I find that in lore purposes the curse of the shift should be removed even if they were Gilnean meaning they are restored as a human but at the cost of being undead, of course this is just my interpretation.) He serves the Ebon Hold and he is a loyal follower of Thassarian. He is in conflict with his loyalties at times but usually Malliuss makes it easy and defers his needs to that of the Holds, and this is how he justifies his position as a member of a guild.

It's taken a while for me to decide on a Death Knight, and the use I would have for it. I have made several but now with Transmog and a story I'm happy to have one.

Transmogging for goodness!

Hey

Well it's no secret my mage is one of those annoyances in role play that needs some serious hard work, every comment, every motion he makes is dedicated to his persona.

The hardest bit I find is maintaining the characteristics of someone that dour when some of the missions and rewards are cute or just amusing! The frying pan mace for instance, my rogue loves it, plans to fry eggs at the Molten Core whilst poisoning any idiotic beast that shuld disturb his fun... however my mage being very serious and all into the necromancy etc (his history is long and convoluted) a frying pan for a weapon doesn't really suit.

What's REALLY made a difference is the transmog goodies! I was so lucky that I collected exactly what I wanted straight away. My mage has his tirisfal set, the staff of the plaguehound also works with his worgen looks. It's been fun listening to the guild getting their rp gear sorted, even down to just being able to change one thing to stop the hideous nature of the odd part looking out of place.

I remember when I was playing my main (hunter) in Wrath and the one thing that really annoyed me was my shoulders. The tiered shoulder piece looked like my character had stolen them from a Chinese take out or something. It never really sat well with the whole set I had. Problem was when you are looking to raid or get the right numbers the aesthetics went out of the window.

Now you can worry about both and the nice thing is people aren't going to look at your gear and go "oh bad player" he/she doesn't have the clone of every other person that level. I like it as role players can keep to their characters more and their gear will reflect that.

Anyways enough from me! Over and out and all that.
