Transmogging for goodness!

Hey

Well it's no secret my mage is one of those annoyances in role play that needs some serious hard work, every comment, every motion he makes is dedicated to his persona.

The hardest bit I find is maintaining the characteristics of someone that dour when some of the missions and rewards are cute or just amusing! The frying pan mace for instance, my rogue loves it, plans to fry eggs at the Molten Core whilst poisoning any idiotic beast that shuld disturb his fun... however my mage being very serious and all into the necromancy etc (his history is long and convoluted) a frying pan for a weapon doesn't really suit.

What's REALLY made a difference is the transmog goodies! I was so lucky that I collected exactly what I wanted straight away. My mage has his tirisfal set, the staff of the plaguehound also works with his worgen looks. It's been fun listening to the guild getting their rp gear sorted, even down to just being able to change one thing to stop the hideous nature of the odd part looking out of place.

I remember when I was playing my main (hunter) in Wrath and the one thing that really annoyed me was my shoulders. The tiered shoulder piece looked like my character had stolen them from a Chinese take out or something. It never really sat well with the whole set I had. Problem was when you are looking to raid or get the right numbers the aesthetics went out of the window.

Now you can worry about both and the nice thing is people aren't going to look at your gear and go "oh bad player" he/she doesn't have the clone of every other person that level. I like it as role players can keep to their characters more and their gear will reflect that.

Anyways enough from me! Over and out and all that.
