Pugging... and raiding elistists I am here to tell you - IT IS A GAME!!!
You're not going to die if you miss out on a bit of gear, you're not going to loose your house if you can't raid every time the invite goes out and you miss it. You won't be murdered in a back alley by an asshole in a pug...
It's a game! These people are not your family and friends. Your family and friends may be in your guild or know you and would never be so stupid... if they were you are an idiot to call them your friend.
Here's my ethic on these things. If you wanna go raiding and pugging and you got the gear and you are happy and friendly that's brilliant.
If you are watching me like an ex-FBI agent with OCD that couldn't let that last case go.. don't tell me and don't make out your the law. I do mean this, you are not the wow police. That's called the Policy agreement you sign at logging etc. I quite frankly do not care what YOU think about MY characters and you know why? For that reason. They are mine. I will gear up at my pace and not at yours.
I work full time, I have a family and I have other commitments. I run a guild and I love the people in it. I won't accept or tolerate any abuse towards them and I won't let you do it to me.
If that makes me wrong well.. I love being wrong!
And on that note Guild Master Mall says "god damn boss didn't even drop my pants"
