My Comedy Pug in LFR and why I am still chuckling...
First mistake - worked a long shift, decided that the LFR would be an easy way to have a laugh with mates.
Second mistake - forgetting to unclick raid leader...
After that it was quite funny. We went into the second part, I have spammed the first a few times so fancied a change.
First boss down, I had won the tier chest piece, and admit I really hadn't thought to check into the gear. It was a tier piece and I won it.
For anyone that has been to multiple dungeons/raids to get one item and having not got it you will no doubt appreciate the elation at having won a tier piece.
Within seconds he was shouting about how I had a chest piece of 397 so why did I wanna ninja his gear... HIS gear? I looked down the list. There were other hunters, Shaman that could have used it. Not least my partner that was in there too (who got said piece after raid hehe) so no it really wasn't the one persons gear.
Mid fight he's trying to trade me, whisper me, vote to kick me despite people telling him to shut up. After twenty minutes of this pathetic show he left. Why was I laughing so much? Seriously if you are that wound up about a game you need to find another hobby because I am not going to suffer a premature nervous breakdown if I loose out to a bit of gear.
Also after that I won another piece and then comically got a third piece handed to me by another friendly pug raider who noticed I had worse on me.
IF I don't need the gear I pass on it, I don't even greed for it as someone else could make use of it. It's not important to me, three or four gold isn't more important than the sense of fun and community and if you want to cry, please don't do it at me or shout at me that I won something that was justifiably mine to win as much as anyone else. IF I had been wearing that item fair enough but other than that get over it ya know?
I play for fun, so should others. Otherwise you're wasting £9 a month and you're wasting oxygen stressing about it.
